I just returned from a six day road trip with my good friend Don as we explored photo locations in New Mexico and along the Arizona and Utah borders.
This was taken outside Kayenta, Arizona on the road to Monument Valley. The light dusting of snow on the ground made the scene more memorable from my perspective….

I’m not sure why some trees get left in fields, but I like the look. I would think fields for crops would be easier to manage without any trees, but maybe there’s a good reason for it. It makes for an interesting photo, but I doubt that’s the reason for leaving a tree there.
